All Notre Dame College students are encouraged to develop career goals, which will help them focus on success at school. Resources for university, TAFE colleges and private providers are available for students to complete research regarding courses and career options.
Students have the opportunity to partake in work experience, Careers Day Out, Biennial Junior Careers Expo, employer shadowing, Career Voyage online computer career interest program, Tertiary Information Service, Pathways Days, University Discovery Days and Events, TAFE taster programs, summer school at University, Kwong Lee Dow Scholars program, University Extension Studies programs, work skills workshops and much more. These activities are designed to help students navigate and explore the many career options available to them.
Students are able to visit the Careers Centre before school, recess, lunchtime and after school or by appointment. Year 9 students are visited by the Careers Counsellors on a regular basis. Parents are encouraged to contact the Careers Centre for advice or to make an appointment with their child to meet with a Careers Counsellor.
