End of Semester Reports
‘Statement of Results’
Across all subjects and learning areas, teachers using various methods and strategies, including end of semester exams, to assess students. This ongoing process of gathering, analysing and reflecting on data assists teachers to make informed and consistent judgements about the student’s progress and achievement.
Student Reports for Semester 1 2017 will be available on the Community Portal from:
Year 7 - 9 Tuesday 4th July
Year 10 - 12 Thursday 10th August
Year 7 – 10 Victorian Curriculum
- In line with Victorian guidelines, Notre Dame College will be reporting against the Victorian Curriculum. You will see a summary of your student’s current level across the Curriculum Areas they have studied this semester.
- Students’ Assessment Task Results and Work Habits will also be shown on individual subject reports.
VCE Statement of Results
- VCE Studies are based on the accredited VCE Study Designs from the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA).
- Outcomes are reported as either S - Satisfactory or N - Not Satisfactory. Students must obtain an S for each outcome to satisfactorily complete the unit. It is important to note that if a student receives an N for any single outcome they cannot receive an S for the unit.
*New for 2017 - Year 11 Reports - Overall Result*
The overall result aims to provide students with an indication of their ability in each subject. Each report will indicate the assessment tasks and exam weighting that contribute to this overall result.
Reports are also available for all students enrolled in VCAL and VET subjects.

To find the Reports, you will need to access the Community Portal, via quick links on this website.
The Reports will be available in the Statement of Results Archive tab. You can also find a PDF summary of your student’s Online Feedback here.
