Coronavirus Update from John Cortese - 29 April 2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

“The family is the first essential cell of human society.”

Pope John XXIII

We hope that your children are all managing to find their way through their learning in Term 2 and that you’re finding ways to support them as they navigate the Remote Learning Program.

We decided last week that we should try to continue with some things as normally as possible, so we planned a student assembly. These are not always events that our parent community are able to get along too, however, we would like to share this one with you all. We’ve put aside Lesson 5 today (the first lesson after lunch) for all students to view the assembly, they will not receive a lesson from their teachers for Lesson 5 today. Please CLICK HERE to view our College Assembly online.

We are also very keen to hear from you all as to how you feel our Remote Learning Program @NDC has been going so far. Please CLICK HERE to complete the survey. We have sent a similar survey to all of out our staff and students and will use all of the feedback to continue to make improvements as we move through the Term.

We understand that these can be difficult times to navigate for you and your children. Our Wellbeing Support Services Team have put together a collection of resources which might be useful for you. CLICK HERE to access this document.
