Instrumental Music Programme

Notre Dame College provides a specialist programme for the training of young people in the area of instrumental music and invites all students to be a part of the Instrumental Music Programme.  Learning a musical instrument provides a rich cultural, social and academic experience.

Our music tutors are an outstanding group of educators and offer lessons in the area of strings, brass, woodwind, drum-kit and percussion, keyboard, bass, guitar and voice.

The Instrumental Music Programme is constantly evolving to suit the needs of our students.  The Programme covers classical, contemporary and jazz streams and all students have the opportunity to sit for nationally recognised, graded performance exams.

Students can enrol for individual lessons or group lessons on their chosen instrument.  Group lessons are ideal for younger musicians who are curious about learning a musical instrument in a less formal environment, which is very cost effective.

Instrumental Lessons are fully supported by the Band Programme which offers a Concert Band, String Orchestra, Jazz Rock Band, Emmaus Ensemble and Vocal Group. The College also offers an Instrument Hire scheme for most instruments.
