Coronavirus Update from John Cortese - 27 March 2020

Dear Parents and Families,

In these times, like we have never seen before, it is even more important that we look after ourselves, our families and our friends. Give your loved ones your time and check in with each other, even if it can’t be in person. Help each other maintain the belief that this will all pass (and hopefully sooner rather than later).

Be assured that as a school, we will continue to educate your child (albeit through different means for a time) and that your child’s wellbeing remains our highest priority. We will be in touch towards the end of the holidays with more details about Term 2 and how we will be proceeding.

Here is some advice from Victoria’s Chief Health Officer, Doctor Brett Sutton about looking after children during the school holidays -

Contacting the College

We are currently scheduled to have the Office open in the first week of the holidays. If you have any urgent messages for the College please phone 03 5822 8400, should the Office be closed, please send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. Changeover to Winter Uniform

A reminder that if we do return to school in term 2, students will be required to be in full winter uniform from Monday May 4th. Please check the website for details regarding the opening time of the College uniform shop.

Renaissance Reading (Year 7 and 8 students)

We are currently looking at ways in which we might be able to sustain the Renaissance Reading Program during a Remote Learning Program. In the mean time we encourage all students to keep reading each day wherever possible.
