Our transition requirements and updated uniform codes are now available on our website:
https://www.notredame.vic.edu.au/ndc-community/uniform.
Students in Years 7 and 10 in 2025 are required to be in new style uniform items with the exception of the wool jumper and soft shell jacket. Students in Years 8, 9, 11 and 12 can wear the older style items and replace these with the newer style items when they are outgrown or outworn up until the year level when required to be fully wearing the new uniform styles.
For example, if a Year 8 student has outgrown their grey shorts they are able to purchase the new navy style shorts and wear them with the older style shirt until they start Year 10. Previous style items are currently still available at Noones uniform shop at 50% off normal prices while stocks last. There are also many secondhand items available at the sustainable schools website https://www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au/
For the remainder of 2024, we acknowledge that for Year 9 students, there will be a need for some flexibility as some new uniform items may not be available until early November and students may have already grown out of summer uniform items. We ask that in these cases, parents supply a note to request a uniform pass for their child to wear other uniform items eg: PE uniform or winter uniform items until they are able to purchase the replacement new style items. A hybrid version uniform of old and new styles is permissible for these students until the beginning of 2025.
Until Friday 11 October students may wear either FULL Winter OR FULL Summer uniform.
All students are to be in full and correct Summer uniform from Monday 14 October.
Scarves are not permitted from the beginning of Term 4 and hats are required are to be worn during Term 4.

On 16 September, Year 12 Art Creative Practice and Art Making and Exhibiting students gathered in the foyer of the Marian building to celebrate a successful year with their annual Art Exhibition.
The artwork on display ranged in technique and media from drawing, painting, printmaking and photography to ceramics, crochet and tattooing.
Student visual diaries were also on display as well as an informative video of each student discussing their work.
Thank you Mr Nicholls for filming and editing the video.
Goulburn Valley artist @tanksartgallery was on hand to open the exhibition and to commend the students on their commitment and creativity.
Our 2024 Year 12 Charity Ball was a huge success with 200 of our friends attending.
The Charity Ball was a chance for the Year 12 cohort to come together and socialise at a fun event for the last time in their final year of schooling all whilst raising funds for a terrific cause.
The night raised $1990 which we have donated to The Bridge Shepparton.
The Bridge does outstanding and often unnoticed work in our community, assisting the youth of Shepparton through issues such as homelessness, family violence, education, and substance abuse.
The funds will be directed towards early intervention to ensure youth are met with immediate assistance early in their life with any issues they may be faced with.
Thank you to all attendees and to everyone who contributed to the night’s success. We hope you all enjoyed it.

At the end of Term 3, Ms Norton’s Year 12 Vet Hospitality class completed a work performance which was their final scored assessment task.
This task involved working as a brigade, electing a head chef, designing a four course meal and executing it to special guests under realistic time constraints and to industry standards.
The menu the team of young budding chefs designed was:
· Amouse bouche: Petit Quiche with oiled micro salad or Wild mushroom risotto
· Entrée: Chicken Caesar salad or minestrone soup with homemade monkey bread
· Mains: Seared Chicken with mushroom velouté, pumpkin puree and hassle back potatoes or scotch fillet with red wine jus, dutchess potatoes and seasonal greens
· Desserts: Lemon meringue pie with biscuit soil, crème Chantilly and coulis or sour cream cinnamon sugar apple pie with vanilla ice cream and crème anglaise
The food was amazing and the service was even better. Well done everyone.
The Department of Defence opened their gates at Puckapunyal Military Base to all students across Victoria who have an interest in a career in the Australian Defence Force. A cohort of Notre Dame College students took the opportunity to attend to see what the ADF had to offer at the Puckapunyal Military Base.
The event showcased a variety of careers on offer, provided benefits and insights into one of the world’s leading military forces and a valuable opportunity to talk one on one with ADF members, to discuss their experiences and lifestyle. There were a number of static and live demonstrations in which students were able to participate.
Also pictured is NDC past student Leigh Danaher, who chatted to the students about his journey. A great day was had by all who attended, providing some valuable insights into a career in the ADF.
A group of Notre Dame students competed against other secondary colleges in the Shepparton region in this year’s ASHE Fest.
Buroinjin is a traditional Aboriginal game. Our NDC Year 11 and 12 team made it to the Grand Final, only losing by 2 goals, with Harry Brown winning MVP for his division.
Congratulations to our 5 teams that participated. You all played with pride and respect.
Thank you ASHE for an excellent day of culture and celebration.
Thanks to student Amy DePaola for taking the photos.
Our intrepid travellers have returned from the Italy Study Tour. Here are a few photos of their travels.
On the final day of Term 3, our Year 12 students came to school dressed in their pyjamas to celebrate the end of their learning and SACs.
It provided some much needed unwinding before their most stressful time of the year commences.
