Celebrating Student Achievement – Academic & Citizenship Awards

The College was proud to host the Academic and Citizenship Presentations and Awards Evening at the start of the year, celebrating the outstanding achievements of our students in 2024.

These events recognised excellence across all year levels, including Year Level Dux, VCE High Achievers, Vocational Awards and the prestigious NDC Special Awards.

The Awards Evening was hosted by our newly appointed College Captains and Vice Captains, who provided a confident and capable demonstration of their leadership skills, representing the College with pride for all guests in attendance.

The evening brought together students, families, and staff to acknowledge the dedication, effort, and success of our learners.

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diverse talents and achievements within our College community.

We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to making these celebrations a success.

The College Reception Honour Boards now proudly reflect the wonderful achievements of 2024.

College Opening Assembly

Last week the whole College came together to celebrate the beginning of the school year. We welcomed our 2025 Year 7 cohort (who were all looking fantastic in our new College uniform).

Students and staff were excited and enthusiastic about the year ahead.

Well done to our 2025 College Captains Will, Gracielle, Angela and Noah for organising an engaging and interactive opening assembly.

Year 12 Retreat

In what is always a special start to their final year, the Year 12 Retreat was an opportunity for our College leaders to spend time reflecting and recharging before the biggest year of their school life begins.

Students participated in group sessions that are centred around learning and growth, as well as allowing time for students to bond with their peers, contemplate their own individual purpose and work on one or more specific goals for the year ahead.

Notre Dame College Thrift Shop

Have the kids grown a little over the holidays?

Would a spare uniform or two reduce the daily washing pressures?

Is last year's uniform looking a bit wild and woolly?

The Thrift Shop is open every Wednesday from 3:30PM to 4:15PM and is located where the old school uniform shop used to be (Corio Ave, enter the College gates and it is on the right hand side, beside the oval).
