YEAR 7/8 ATHLETICS TRIALS
Sign ups for the 12/13 & 14 year old NDC Athletics Trials have been completed. Trials being held at McEwen Reserve on Tuesday 18 March.
Students competing will catch a bus to McEwen Reserve at the conclusion of recess and will return to Notre Dame at approximately 3:00pm.
Students competing are to wear their sports uniform to school and bring sunscreen, hat, food & drink. Students not competing at the Trials will attend class as normal.
Information on the Athletics Carnival to be held at McEwen Reserve on Tuesday 1 April will be included in future Newsletters.
GOULBURN MURRAY DISTRICT SWIMMING CARNIVAL
Notre Dame College’s Swimming team performed exceptionally well at the Goulburn Murray District Swimming Carnival, which was held at Aquamoves on the 28 February.
NDC won both the Girls Aggregate, Boys Aggregate and overall School Champion Trophies, whilst Imogen Walsh (13yr Girls), Ethan Gicole (13yr Boys), Giaan Williamson (14yr Girls), Isla Shaw (15yr Girls), Nichola Antonello (16yr Boys) and Kiera Shaw (17yr Girls) had outstanding results to win the Age Group Champions awards.
Students who finished in the top 2 of their events qualify for the Hume Region Swimming Carnival, which will be held in Wodonga on 14 March. These students were as follows:
