The 2025 school year has started wonderfully. The enthusiasm from both staff and students in welcoming the new year has been truly inspiring.
A key milestone, the opening school assembly, set a positive tone for the year ahead.
A new initiative, called Magnify Sandhurst has been implemented across all Sandhurst schools. This initiative aims to enhance learning outcomes for students, create a safer environment in schools, and foster a deeper understanding of how we learn. It also ensures continuous growth for all within the school setting. High expectations remain our focus, with school leaders, staff, and students all understanding their roles and responsibilities.
The Year 12 retreats have been an outstanding success, setting a strong foundation for the graduating class of 2025. With goals now set, the focus shifts to the work needed to achieve them. Meanwhile the Year 7 camps have also been a highlight, providing opportunities for students to build new friendships, challenge themselves, and strengthen connections with staff.
I have received many comments back and that is that the new College uniforms look stunning.
Looking ahead, this term will feature exciting events such as the swimming sports, the opening school Mass, the Easter Liturgy, and the Year 9 Daborra (outdoor education) camps.
It’s shaping up to be another fantastic term at Notre Dame College!
