GV Health Work Experience Programme - Year 10

Dear Year 10 Students,

We are excited to inform you about the upcoming GV Health Work Experience Program, which is scheduled to run between August and October 2025.

This programme offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare field, providing valuable insights into the various roles and departments within GV Health.

Please note that the GV Health Work Experience Program is a separate programme from your I & E placement and Employment Pathways placement and will require a separate application process.

As we approach the April school holidays, several universities are hosting events tailored to provide regional students with insights into campus life and various study disciplines. 1. Discover ACU – Campus Events

Australian Catholic University (ACU) is hosting 'Discover ACU', designed to give students a taste of specific disciplines and campus life. Participants can engage in workshops, explore facilities, and interact with current students.​

2. Federation University Walk & Talk Tours

Federation University invites students to personalized 'Walk and Talk' tours at their Gippsland, Berwick, and Mt Helen campuses. These one-on-one tours with current students provide insights into possible careers and campus life.​

5. Angliss Experience Days

William Angliss Institute is offering two experience days, providing hands-on activities and insights into the hospitality and culinary industries.​

  • Angliss International Hotel School Experience Day:
  • Cookery Experience Day:
    • Friday 11 April​
    • Cost: $30​
    • Participants will engage in a hands-on cooking class, enjoy a lunch on-site, and take home their dish.​

6. RMIT Campus Tours
