Notre Dame congratulates Christopher Stivactas on being chosen to attend the trials for the Under 13-14 Years Global Football Network United Kingdom
Academy team.
A squad of 16 (out of 40 who trialled) headed to the UK in the April School Holidays.
Christopher and the other players chosen travelled to London and surrounding areas to play against other English based academies.
After winning the Goulburn Murray Division and Hume Region Carnivals in June, NDC’s Year 7 & * Football teams progressed through to the School Sports Victoria (SSV) State Finals Carnival in Melbourne last week . The results were as follows:
Year 7: Quarter Final - Beaumaris SC 11.5.71 def NDC 5.9.39; Best players were Toby Keady, Sol Zak, Ryder Dudgeon, Nate Warrin, Lennix Mellington & Levi Duffy.
Year 8: Quarter Final - NDC 11.7 73 def Frankston HS 3.5 23; Semi Final - Rowville SC 15.8 98 def NDC 4.5 29.
Best players were Lincoln Brand, Tanner Miller, Judd Tamburro, Lucas O’Hora, Cole Parker & Nash Keenan.
The NDC Year 8 Badminton teams competed at the Hume Region Carnival in Shepparton on 15 August. The results were as follows:
Girls – won 2 matches & lost 1 to finished second.
Boys – won 1 match & lost 2 to finish third.
