Last Wednesday 300 Year 7/8 students represented Notre Dame College in a variety of sports - Super 8’s, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball and Lawn Bowls - at the GMD Inter School Sport Carnivals.
It was a successful and fun-filled day for all. The following teams won their respective Sport/Age Group Carnival and have progressed through to the Hume Region Carnivals which are held over the coming weeks:
· Year 7 & 8 Boys and Year 7 & 8 Girls Table Tennis teams
· Year 7 & 8 Boys and Year 7 & 8 Girls Tennis teams
· Year 7 & 8 Boys Cricket teams
· Year 8 Boys Volleyball

After winning events at the Hume Region Athletics Carnival held in Albury on 10 October, 8 NDC students competed at the School Sport Victoria State Athletics Championships at the Melbourne Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park on 21 October.
Competing against the best Athletes from around the State, these NDCs students represented the College with great pride and strong performances with each competitors results as follows:
· Annabelle Novac – 1st in the Girls 16yo 100 Metre hurdles
· Isla Shaw – 8th in the Girls Open 3000 Metre Run, 13th in the Girls 14yo 1500 Metre Run
· Alice Ludlow – 6th in the Girls 16yo Javelin Throw, 2nd in the Girls 16yo Shot Put
· Summa Sidebottom – 3rd in the Girls 14yo High Jump, 8th in the Girls 14yo Relay
· Jack Gospel – 2nd in the Boys 17yo 800 Metre Run, 3rd in the Boys 17yo 1500 Metre Run
· Maya Jones – 8th in the Girls 14yo 400 Metre Run, 8th in the Girls 14yo Relay
· Charlee Kennedy - 8th in the Girls 14yo Relay
· Ella Supple - 8th in the Girls 14yo Relay
