We would like to thank all our families who have supported the transition to the new uniform at Notre Dame College, particularly the families of our year 10 students. We acknowledge that for many this comes at significant financial cost and a change in practice.
Despite the best efforts of our suppliers, there were some shortages of some sizes and styles, and we thank you for your patience with this. We are extremely proud of how our students look in the new uniform. The students have given us positive feedback on the comfort and wearability of the uniform which was our main aim for its implementation.
We will be regularly ensuring our students wear the new uniform in accordance with the uniform code which can be found on our website:

Notre Dame College is excited and proud to be a part of the Magnify Sandhurst initiative that has been implemented in all schools of the Sandhurst Diocese. As part of this initiative, we are following the Sandhurst Learning and Teaching Model and our Yr 7, and 8 Mathematics staff are utilising the teaching materials of OCHRE Education; previously, students utilised the Math Pathways platform.
OCHRE’s materials are designed to provide consistent, high-quality content that aligns with our educational goals, and they support effective teaching practices.
It is intended that the structured approach of OCHRE with low variance and explicit instruction will enable all students to experience growth in their numeracy skills. Our mathematics staff are committed to developing differentiated tasks to use in conjunction with the OCHRE Curriculum.
From the beginning of 2026, English and Science lessons will utilise OCHRE’s materials, and other Learning Areas will follow in successive years.
OCHRE’s Curriculum Maps & Guides for Maths can be accessed on OCHRE’s website.
For further assistance and enquiries regarding OCHRE Maths, contact your child’s Math’s teacher via SEQTA Engage.
You will also be able to ask questions about OCHRE Maths at the Parent Teacher Interviews which are being conducted at the beginning of Term 2 on April 28 and 30.
The aim of the camps was to experience personal growth, enhance resilience and develop team and leadership skills. Activities included archery, canoeing, high ropes, mountain bike riding and initiative activities.

Have the kids grown a little over the holidays?
Would a spare uniform or two reduce the daily washing pressures?
Is last year's uniform looking a bit wild and woolly?
