Friday 4 April is the final day of Term 1.
Buses will run as per normal, just one hour earlier.
Normal school attendance is expected for all students as this is a regular school day.
With the weather cooling down it’s time to think about winter uniform.
All students are expected to be in winter uniform by Monday 5 May so it may be wise to check that you have all the necessary items and that they are in a good condition and still fit.
All year 7 and 10 students will be in the new winter uniform whilst students in other year levels may still wear the older styles. The new dress and short sleeve shirts are not part of the winter uniform. The old style long sleeve shirt still requires that the College tie is worn with it. It is acceptable for students in years 8, 9, 11 and 12 to wear a mix of old and new styles.

Last week, some of our Year 9 students went to Yarrawonga for Daborra. We still have photos coming in, giving us a glimpse of what they got up to during the 4 days that they were away.
Last Friday evening Notre Dame College hosted the Interfaith Iftar Dinner, a fundraising event for Caritas Australia.
This was a fully student led event, with over 70 people in attendance. The evening included guest speakers Kerry Stone from Caritas and Hysni Merja - Albanian Mosque Imam.
Congratulations to those who coordinated the event specifically NDC's Cultural Diversity Leader Cidra Chkhaydem and the Year 11 & 12 Student Leaders and Game Changers.
With the end of the school term fast approaching, it means the annual Project Compassion Cup is fast approaching as well.
On Friday (after the Easter Liturgy), our staff and students will go head-to-head to see who wins the trophy.
To celebrate Project Compassion, we gather as a whole school community to watch the Project Compassion Cup. This is a way of raising money for communities around the world in countries such as Samoa, Cambodia, Nepal, and Mozambique.
Soccer in these and other communities overseas is a way of connecting and uniting people, having fun and laughs, the same way we are connecting together and having fun as a College Community.
On Monday 31 March a group of our senior students departed for Japan for their study tour.
After 3 planes, and 4 bus trips in 24 hours they all arrived safely in Fukuoka. All exhausted but very happy to be there.
The cherry blossoms were welcoming, and the students are having the time of their life.
Dixon sensei and Ito sensei met with the Senior Leadership team of Wakaba High School and Fukuoka Government officials to discuss future plans for developing a sister school relationship between our schools.
Before the students started their language school classes on Day 3 they enjoyed lunch in a park, had fun at Team Lab and the students were served their dinner by a robot.
Lots of happy faces at the end of the day.
