NDC Swimming Carnivals

The awards for Notre Dame College’s Swimming Carnivals were recently presented and were as follows:

House Champions: 1^st McGann 601 points; 2^nd Jennings 556; 3^rd Mackillop 525; 4^th Kennedy 485; 5^th Mungovan 481; 6^th Crane 400.

Age Group Champions awards:

13yo Girls – Amelia Baker (McGann); Boys – Ethan Gicole (Mackillop)

14yo Girls – Giaan Williamson (Jennings); Boys – Jackson Crouch (Mungovan)

15yo: Girls – Isla Shaw (Mackillop); Boys – Sidney Nhill (Jennings) and Sol Zak (Kennedy)

16yo: Girls – Isabel Zampaglione (Mungovan); Boys – Nicholas Antonello (Jennings)

17yo: Girls – Keira Shaw (Mackillop); Boys – Keelan Phillips-King (Kennedy) & Cody Montgomery (Mackillop)

18yo+: Girls – Caitlin Doherty (CRAN); Boys – Caden Ratcliffe (Mungovan) and Grant Vallance (McGann)

The records broken at the Carnival were as follows:

16yo Boys 50m Freestyle - Nicholas Antonello (29.19s)

16yo Boys 50m Backstroke - Nicholas Antonello (34.47s)

13yo Girls 50m Butterfly - Imogen Walsh (37.75s)

13yo Girls 50m Freestyle - Amelia Baker (33.10s)

ATHLETICS CARNIVAL 2025

NDC students gathered at McEwen Reserve on Tuesday 1 April in a range of different colours, costumes and outfits for our annual Athletics Carnival.

After taking home the gold last year, Mungovan was crowned Athletics House Champions for the second year in a row - congratulations Mungovan.

4^th Mackillop 879.0points

5^th Kennedy 703.0 points
