NDC’s Year 7 & 8 Soccer teams competed at the Hume Region Carnival held in Shepparton on 8 August. The results were as follows:
Year 7’s: Round 1 – Greater Shepp SC 2 def NDC 0
Round 2 – NDC 2 drew Catholic College Wodonga 2
Round 3 – NDC 4 def Sacred Heart College Yarrawonga 0
Finished 2nd.

The Year 8 team now progresses through to the School Sport Victoria (SSV) State Championships in Melbourne on 1 September.

YEAR 9 & 10 FOOTBALL
NDC’s Year 9/10 Football teams good form continued at the SSV State Quarter Final and Semi Final Carnival held in Melbourne on 10 August, winning both games.
The results were as follows:
Quarter Final - NDC 13.5.83 def Parkdale SC 5.7.37
Semi Final – NDC 10.6.66 def Marist Sion College Warragul 8.9.57
The best players were Oscar Lambourn, Noah Muir, Flynn Grumley, Max Hooper, Aydan Dawson & Ryan Ash.
The Year 9/10 team now progresses through to the SSV State Grand Final in Melbourne on 23 August.
NETBALL
NDCs Year 7, 8, 9/10 & 11/12 Netball teams competed at the Hume Region Carnival held in Wangaratta on 10 August. The results were as follows:
Year 7s – won 1 game / lost 2; Best players were Lexie Pearce, Frankie Ewart & Hannah Radevski; Finished 4th
Year 8s – won 1 game / lost 2; Best players were Lilah Visentine-Weston, Zara Moffatt, Zoe Williams; Finished 3rd
Year 9/10s - won 1 game / lost 2 games; Best players were Jaylah Meda, Emily Archer & Mia Ludeman; Finished 2nd
Year 11/12s – won 2 games / lost 1; Best players were Isabel Whitelaw, Charlette Gray, Eliza Bicknell & Tazmyn Stovell
CLAY TARGET SHOOTING
Harry Canobie, Jack Caverzan, Hunt-Oliver Whipps, Aiden Maksacheff, Lachlan Mawson & Elmo Yeatman represented NDC at the Inter School Clay Target Carnival held in Echuca on 10 August.
All students competed well, with the best result being Harry Canobie who shot 16 off 20 targets to finish 3rd.
