Please see the Department of Health website at www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au for the latest face mask requirements as advice may change at short notice.
Face masks are mandatory indoors unless an exception applies, ie at schools for staff and students.
Face masks are mandatory for all school staff and school students aged 12 or older on public transport and when in taxis or ride share vehicles. This includes travelling to and from school on public transport or in a vehicle with others not from your household.
All students must still provide and keep with them, their own face masks. Even if they are not bus travellers to and from school, there will be occasions that masks will be required, for example:
- School staff and students must also abide by the face mask requirements of other public venues.
- Staff and students attending camps and excursions will be required to meet any face mask requirements of an external provider/venue, including transport providers, unless a lawful exception applies.
Visitors and parents to Notre Dame College must observe indoor face mask requirements, this includes staff and students visiting from other schools.
Face masks continue to be recommended outdoors when 1.5m physical distancing cannot be maintained.
Student Absence Due to Border Restrictions
Parents of students who are required to isolate or undertake home-based quarantine should contact the relevant Head of House / Learning Community Leader to discuss arrangements until such time that they are permitted to return to school.
