Update from John Cortese – 17 October 2021

We have been informed by the Department of Health that we have had two students in our community who have tested positive to COVID19. Our thoughts and prayers are with these students and their families at this time.

We understand this news will be concerning for many of you. I want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to ensure the health and safety of our whole school community.

No Access to the College tomorrow – Emmaus or Knight Street Campuses

We are currently planning our clean of the site which will take place tomorrow. NO staff or students will have access to any College sites tomorrow. Unfortunately, this means students will not have any access to lockers until Tuesday at the earliest.

Remote Learning for All Students Monday 18 October 2021

All classes will run remotely tomorrow. There will be NO Supervision program on any of our sites.

This is expected to be a one day only closure of the sites. We expect that the rest of the week will run as planned.

We will send further communication tomorrow afternoon.

COVID Testing and Primary Contact Close Contacts

We are currently finalising Primary Close Contacts reports which have been requested by the Department of Health. The Department of Health will then contact students identified in these reports with further instructions and information.

We appreciate the continued resilience and strength of our Notre Dame College Community and we will continue to stay in touch with you regularly over the next few days.
